Ceftriaxone Kabi

Ceftriaxone Kabi is a 3^rd generation cephalosporin antibiotic with the long serum half-life of cephalosporins. Available in a parenteral formulation, Ceftriaxone Kabi is indicated for the treatment of a number of infections when caused by susceptible microorganisms to ceftriaxone and for prophylactic use in patients undergoing surgery.

• Long biological half-life
• Once-daily dosing schedule

Ceftriaxone Kabi is indicated for the treatment of the following infections caused by micro-organisms that are susceptible to ceftriaxone and if parenteral treatment is necessary:
•    Infections of ear, nose and throat
•    Infections of the lower respiratory tract
•    Infections of the kidneys and urinary tract
•    Infections of skin and soft tissues, including wound infections
•    Infections of the genital organs, including gonorrhoea
•    Abdominal infections (peritonitis)
•    Infections of bones and joints
•    Septicaemic infections
•    Meningitis
•    Perioperative prophylaxis in patients with increased risk of infections
•    Disseminated Lyme borreliosis (early and late stages of the disease)
